One Year Today

(10/13)It's our First anniversary today and I think I can say we are as giddy as we were a year ago. Married life is fantastic and I have been so blessed with a kind, considerate, charming, handsome, and loving husband. Even with baby on the way I still feel like a newlywed ( I guess that term ends today huh)

So A bit of cheese for my husband:

To my soulmate. Thank you for all the support, wise words and unconditional love this past year. I am so lucky to have you in my life . I'm more than looking forward to starting a family together and being this much in love with you for a lifetime. We have so many great adventures ahead of us and I'm so happy to tackle them together. GO TEAM BOOM!!!!!

For our readers, Less cheesy posts and baby shower pictures to come.
UPDATE (posted 10/23): I added our anniversary picture. This is us at Teller's that night enjoying a meal out and then an evening of movies and ice cream. It was perfect. Eric also bought me a bouqet of fall flowers to celebrate. I'm a very lucky lady.

Mamma Boom in Town!

Last weekend we were spoiled endlessly, Mamma Neuteboom hit the town. It was a great whirlwind of a weekend ( you know you love that alliteration) and flew by entirely too fast. Connie came in on Friday and got to see my show at Southwest and then we joined Mom and Dad afterwards. On Saturday we had a wonderful brunch at Mirth and shopped and walked downtown. You all remember that BEAUTIFUL weekend we had last weekend, so long ago, so far away.....damn it's cold. Anyway, She then left for her Sorority reunion, that's right Connie went Greek in College and here's the picture to prove it.

When Connie returned on Sunday we had a fantastic family dinner with my folks as well, steaks, salad, potatoes au gratin...mmmm.....so good. It was a perfect capper to a great weekend. On Sunday we also stole all the pictures off of Connie's camera. I finally have proof of how huge her cat Samantha really is, see!
Don't you think she'd make the perfect girlfriend for our resident fatty Maurice?
Up Next, All the super cute pictures of our nephew Gabe that we stole from Connie's camera. Sorry these didn't get here sooner, we didn't have any digitals yet.

Mossy Cape

Come one, come all, and see a GREAT play! This Thursday and Friday is the Southwest Production of "Mossy Cape" a wonderful southern Cinderella story with elements of Shakespeare's King Lear. It's a delightful production and under an hour. This is a great show to bring your little ones to because it's filled with music, dancing and a fairytale theme. Plus you can't beat a show that's under 1 hour!

I hope to see you there Thursday or Friday at 7:00pm.

I want my Baby Back!!

No, I'm not talking about Chili's ribs. I want Eric home again. Eric left last Friday for The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America's Anual Trade show ( wow, that was a lot to write) He gets home Sunday and it couldn't be soon enough.

No I have not been sitting around the house waiting for him to call.....most nights..... I've had some fun whilst he has been away. ( That's right, I said whilst)
"So Trish, What have you done???" Well, my brother was in town for the Gaus Wedding and left last Sunday, I got to see the puppet showdown, and spend some quality time with him. Then last Sunday Mom and I refused be sad about our husbands and brother/son being gone so we fixed ourselves a Lobster and Artichoke feast and had a great mother-daughter night. This week I have proceeded to work hard and take guilt free naps, and yes occasionally get excited when the phone rings. Overall, it's been a good week however; I am tired of being alone and quite ready for Eric to return.

Two days to go........

Exciting Weekend

We are pumped about the Gaus Wedding but there is another exciting event going on this weekend that you should know about.

Tonight we are going to see my mother in a great play called Lettice and Lovage at the Metropolitan Ensemble Theater. I have heard rave reviews from Newspapers, friends and family and I'm so excited to see the show. Performances are Tonight, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30pm and I highly recommend you go. Mom says this is one of the best shows she's done and one of the most challenging roles. Many important people ( the people who really count!) Have said that this is Jeanne at her best. An absolute masterpiece that even Maggie Smith couldn't do better then Jeanne Averill.

So come one, come all, See this show!!!!!!! Here's the link
