Baby Boom!

That's right, we're having a baby! Jesus Norbert Neuteboom is tentatively scheduled to arrive on Christmas Day!

Clearly, we're ecstatic. Our friends and especially family have been wonderful with their reactions and support. We know we're in for some big changes, but we're really looking forward to them.

And speaking of changes, this here blog will be a changin' soon too, to accommodate the newest member of the family. Stay tuned!

Yours,

Eric and Trish (aka "Baby Daddy" and "Baby Momma Drama")

Garage Sale

Hey All

Save the Date! It's that time of year again, Spring Cleaning and getting rid of all our old crap. We have to make room in the garage for my NEW GOLF CLUBS!!! That's right, I start golf lessons on Wednesday with a brand new set of beautiful red Cougar clubs. I got shoes, clothes, gloves, hats, and everything to look beautifully green on my first day out.
But I digress, The point is please come take our crap. We even have a microwave and futon for sale so it's totally worth your while.

This Sunday May 3rd from 7:00am-1:00 or 2:00pm. For directions and the address leave me a comment and I'll e-mail you the info.

Come by even if you don't wanna buy stuff. We'll be hanging out in the driveway relaxing the day away!

See you Saturday.

Bad News Beers

Softball is up and running...well we are anyway, and sadly still not terribly fast. We have played several weekends now and are still not quite reaching a win. But we're close...man are we close. Last week we played a team that probably should move up a league. They smoked us to the point that we ended the game 20 mins early. That's right, run ruled and sent to the beer before game time should have ended. However, the week before we played those crazy Seem-To-Be Hitters and lost by only 1 pt. 10 to 9. We are truly moving up and having a blast doing it.

I have also branched out in my athleticism and joined a Monday night women's team. We played a double header last Monday and I had a blast.

Sorry I didn't blog about KU championship game, I was too happy to type. It was a blast to watch, we even got our friends up from the Ta to watch it with us. What great camaraderie!

Okay, I'm running out of interesting things to write about. Will report soon!

Bad News Beers

Hey all! Long time no blog.

Well a lot has happened in the Neuteboom household in preparation for SPRING! That's right, at some point it may actually be spring and we are ready for it. I spent my Spring Break cleaning in cracks and corners I didn't even know we had in our house. The house is so lovely now. But the big Spring news is just around the corner.

SOFTBALL!!!!!!!!

We start up again this weekend and we have a whole new name and look. This year we are " The Bad News Beers" with light blue shirts just like the Royals. ( Or will be once the Royals switch back to the baby blue jerseys) We have a few team changes, Eric has roped in several of his work friends and we have sadly lost Jaq to Wichita and Gaus to being a pansy, oh I mean a knee injury. However, we've conned Dustin's brother into playing as well as the old familiar faces of Me, Eric, Deena, Dustin, Mel, Sean, Tracy, Clint, Laura, and Kari. So if you wanna see us play our hearts out on Sunday come on by to the Clinton Lake Sports Complex at 8pm and look for the beer, um... I mean Bad News Beers.

For a schedule see:

Hope to see you there!

Mamma Boom in Town!

Last weekend we were spoiled endlessly, Mamma Neuteboom hit the town. It was a great whirlwind of a weekend ( you know you love that alliteration) and flew by entirely too fast. Connie came in on Friday and got to see my show at Southwest and then we joined Mom and Dad afterwards. On Saturday we had a wonderful brunch at Mirth and shopped and walked downtown. You all remember that BEAUTIFUL weekend we had last weekend, so long ago, so far away.....damn it's cold. Anyway, She then left for her Sorority reunion, that's right Connie went Greek in College and here's the picture to prove it.

When Connie returned on Sunday we had a fantastic family dinner with my folks as well, steaks, salad, potatoes au gratin...mmmm.....so good. It was a perfect capper to a great weekend. On Sunday we also stole all the pictures off of Connie's camera. I finally have proof of how huge her cat Samantha really is, see!
Don't you think she'd make the perfect girlfriend for our resident fatty Maurice?
Up Next, All the super cute pictures of our nephew Gabe that we stole from Connie's camera. Sorry these didn't get here sooner, we didn't have any digitals yet.

Mossy Cape

Come one, come all, and see a GREAT play! This Thursday and Friday is the Southwest Production of "Mossy Cape" a wonderful southern Cinderella story with elements of Shakespeare's King Lear. It's a delightful production and under an hour. This is a great show to bring your little ones to because it's filled with music, dancing and a fairytale theme. Plus you can't beat a show that's under 1 hour!

I hope to see you there Thursday or Friday at 7:00pm.
