We're Hitched!!!

What a Weekend!! Eric and I are married, and I'm offically Mrs. Neuteboom!

It was fairy tale wedding and dare I say it....Perfect. I'm so in love with my new husband. Here is the first picture we've got. It's taken by my Aunt Pat and is our first dance together as a married couple. We danced to the Crumpleton's version of Van Morrison's Moondance. It was beautiful.

Summary of Wedding Weekend will Follow shortly . It was the best week of my life and if I tried to write it out now you would be reading this all day. I'll compose a summary and post it soon with more pictures.

For now, Thank you to everyone for all of the support and love you have given us. I hope you had fun, I know I did.

12 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hooray! it is approaching fast. So fast I'm not sure what to do next.

This past weekend was legendary, I don't have the entire scoop from Eric yet but our Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend was filled to the brim with fun.

What did Trish do......... What didn't Trish do........................

Saturday:
I had a great "bedroom" shower where I got all sorts of things I can't talk about and then hit downtown for a night at the bars. I did really well too until about 1:30 when it was time for me to go home. Thanks to Tracy and the girls for taking such good care of me.

Sunday: I got a fantastic breakfast at Mirth with Mom, Dad, Jean and Heather and then went back to bed for several hours. I then spent the rest of the day lying on the couch watching movies that Eric never let's me rent!!! Woo Hoo!! house to myself. However, the joy of that wore off when I couldn't get any sleep, so today I'm still exhausted.

What did Eric do............

went to Vegas.... nuff said.

Wedding Update: We need Christmas lights, white lights with white chords would be preferable but I'll take the ones with green chords too. I ordered some online but they turned out to be green lights which is too Christmasy for my taste. So if you have any, and would be willing to let us borrow them. Give me a call!

Wow.... So updating...about that....

Okay, so we created this blog to keep people updated on the Wedding. ................

and.............so we're 18 days away and we haven't posted in like two weeks.

We know we're fired. But don't fret! I have plans, wonderful plans for this blog and you will be so entertained you won't be able to help responding!!!

So Wedding Update:

We've started having wedding meetings weekly to figure out what still needs to be done. Overall we're doing really great. Tonight we're going to talk about the band and what music they will play. There are great plans for a Beatles vs. Stones set but the band knows way more then Beatles. Sorry honey! Beatles win!

Eric is still searching for the perfect Mother/Son song and I've got to figure out what Daddy and I will dance to ( the goal is to make him cry as many times as possible that day)

Itineraries are in the making so those of you in the family or wedding party will know exactly what's going on.

Will and Lucy have bought their tickets and we even get Lu longer then Willie which is great cause she's way cuter and Will's around all the time. I thought that guy moved to England....hm...

So that's the summary for Now. Keep checking back though because it's going to be better. I swear..

Much to do

Okay so before you start. This picture has nothing to do with the Post but I really like it, and I like having pictures on the blog...... so enjoy.

Sorry it's been a while. Eric has spent the beginning of this week at home with all sorts of bad stuff. Most of which I hear is going around our circle of friends. Tracy and Mel, I hope you're feeling better! I think it may be headed my way next but I'm choking down airborne and trying to stay healthy.

So what have we been up to? well......We had a wonderful weekend in Lawton, Oklahoma. The service for Grandma Neuteboom was beautiful and it was very cool meeting all of the family friends. Since we've been back it's been a speeding train of productivity.

I've been crafty, making the flower girl baskets and mixing marbles. Also ordering as much as I can online. Sadly, only about half of it is actually what I want.

Eric and I booked our Honeymoon ( VERY EXCITING!!!!!) I'm especially excited about one of our excursions, Eric is going to FIGHT A DOLPHIN!!! Okay, so they call it "swimming with the dolphins" but whatever! We're also going to go on a Captain Hook cruise which includes a Lobster dinner, and dance the night away at the Coco Bongo club. We're both really looking forward to it. In fact, it is my greatest salvation when I get stressed.

Still lots to do, so much in fact I don't even know when to start.

School is going great, although my school picture on my I.D. card this year is as bad as it was when I was in Junior High. I have started my fall production of "Get Smart" I have a great cast and rehearsals are going well. The Wedding is right in the middle of the production.

That's about all I can think of for now. Sorry for the delay, I'll get on it!

A Tribute to Grandma Neuteboom

This weekend Eric and I are traveling to Oklahoma to attend the memorial service for his Grandmother, Heidi Neuteboom. Grandma Neuteboom passed away in November during the Thanksgiving Holidays and she is already greatly missed.

Eric was very close to both is Grandparents and shares wonderful stories about traveling Europe, losing to Grandma Heidi at cards and holiday memories. I feel truly blessed to have had the chance to meet her and spend the weekend with her in Lawton, OK last year around this time. She was kind and REALLY funny, she also complemented me right away on my blue eyes, which always makes me blush.

Although we're sad to lose her, we are looking forward to celebrating her life this weekend. There will be lots of Neuteboom family to share memories and stories with and even a little Neuteboom on the way( Heidi's baby) to carry on the memories.

So to Eric,

First and foremost, I love you. I feel truly blessed to be able to be there for you in sad as well as joyful times. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. We'll create the kind of memories and joyful times with our Grandchildren that our Grandparents have provided us. I know that your Grandparents and my Grandpa Stu will be with us on our wedding day, watching over us with huge smiles and hearts full of love. I can't thank them enough for starting these incredibly supportive and loving families that you and I get to join together and continue.

Lightning Strikes for Bulbous

We Won!!!!!..........Seriously!!! Not only did we win but it was a REALLY good game. We won 18-17 or 18-16 ( no one is sure if their last run was safe or not.) I think we even almost played a full six innings.

Highlights: Our Hitting, Everyone was on the ball, literally. Also our defence, we've had some pretty good defence for a while but pair that with actual successful hitting and we're going to be unstoppable. We had not one but two Grand Slams, with in the park homers, and all kinds of rock star playing. I really should start writing softball updates on Monday because by today I've forgotten most of the highlights.

Wedding Stuff: We're finishing up the invitations and planning to stuff them this weekend and send them on Monday. If any one has ideas for clever and cheap favors let me know. Also, one of my bridesmaids ( Stephanie, who I stayed with in Denver recently) Is flying through Kansas City today and I'm super bummed because I have a really boring meeting and I can't meet her for dinner. Lame.

That's about all, My mom gets back on Sunday and I CAN'T wait to swap stories.

We have games at 6:00pm and 7:00pm if anyone wants to see the new and improved Bulbs!

One of the Working Force Again

So I know you've all been seething with envy during my beautiful summer vacation. Alas, It has drawn to a close. Today is the second day of school and naps have become a fleeting memory. On Wednesday, the bright-eyed and confused faces of the 7th grade class swarmed the Halls, only to be followed by all grades on Thursday. That leaves today, The First full day of worthwhile teaching and man am I exhausted. The driving force at the moment is getting to the end of the day for TGIF at the new Mexican Restaurant in town.So far, I sound pretty bummed right? Well not true, I'm having a blast. It's exhausting and exhilarating to start a new year. So far, this years eight graders are a hoot and I've got lots of kids pumped up to participate in the fall production. It's been great seeing all my teaching friends again and my room has never looked better. I'm ready for this so......"Okay....Here we Go".

Wedding Stuff

Things are going great. Eric and ordered our wedding bands last week and I've got our marriage license at home in a safe place. We booked the flowers, talked to the musicians and are working on the ceremony, not to mention looking at Honeymoon locations! This is going to be such a fun wedding and I'm so excited to be Mrs. Neuteboom ( some of my kids are already coming up with nicknames, I don't think I want to know them all) We're looking forward to seeing family over labor day weekend and to each and every over 100 degree softball game. ( Softball highlights will follow next week).

That's about all for now. Back to preparing to sculpt young minds!
