And, just to be fair...

For Lerve

You want a picture of Trish, We'll give you a picture of Trish. Enjoy!
(Note to all family members viewing this photo, I did this for comic purposes only. I do not, I repeat do not decorate trees.....oops, I mean smoke.)

It's Trish

I'm here Too!!!! Eric is showing me how to post stuff. Hooray! Here come wedding plans!

Here's a picture of the ring. Woo Hoo check out this rock!

First photo!

That there's my dad, JP. I took this photo at a Royals game in July with Trish, Ric (Trish's dad), me and dad, and this was his version of the rally cap. I can't honestly remember who won the game (sadly, I bet it wasn't the Royals) but we sure had a good time. Anyway, one of my better photos I believe. More to come soon!

Boy do I feel dumb...

So, my lovely bride-to-be, the future Mrs. Neuteboom, made me a great, wonderful and tasty lunch...yesterday. Why does this merit mention? Because I only just now had it. Yesterday Jonesy came by my office (OK, it's a cube) and told me to grab my coat, "we're going to the Taste." Despite my protestations, he insisted that we go (being gone for the past week in Anaheim, we were running dangerously low on MSG) so I tucked my lunch back in the fridge at work and off we went to the Taste (a typical Monday performance from them; in a word, solid), where I cashed in my free lunch punch card (something else that bothers me about them, why, when I earn the free buffet by spending approximately $90 there to get the freebie, must you insist on charging me 95 cents for a goddamn drink?!? Should that not be part of my reward?).

So anyway, I just finished my mouth-watering lunch...and boy do I feel dumb. I should have waited until Friday (the standing date for the Taste). And Trish, not wanting to miss an opportunity to make me regret my decision, adeptly asked me last night, while I was grabbing the Thin Mints from the freezer, "do you know why that bag is open?"

"No babe, I don't, did you just open it?"

"No, try again."

"Did you eat some at work?"

"No," she says, "I opened it yesterday when I was making your lunch, fuck-o!"

"Oh," I said, tepidly. "Sorry."

Then she punched me. I love that woman.

Sorry for the delay in posting...

After some lengthy and certainly frustrating "technical difficulties" around this blog, I've finally unlocked the secret to posting! I know, I know, "welcome to the 21st, Neuty..."

Anyway, Trish and I will get more up here this week. For now, enjoy this tidbit, courtest of the Lawrence Journal-World:

Well...here we go...

Well, if nothing else, this should be an interesting adventure. I've seen other friends of ours (namely Seth, Adrianne and baby Evey) recently begin to chronicle their lives in blog format, so I thought I'd create a blog to help all of our friends and family find information about our wedding and other miscellaneous "Eric and Trish" adventures online. For example, Saturday night Trish won at poker! We'll see if we can get a follow up post on here about that. Expect stories like that and much more (hopefully).

To be honest, technology is pretty, well, frightening and confusing to me, but if I can burn CDs, and if I can use a digital camera, well, anything's possible (Trish is a whiz with this stuff). There will probably be some overly sappy, lovey-dovey posts on here too (I am madly in love, after all), some musings about baseball and the ever-reliable beer story. So, buckle up and hold on, this ride's just getting started!
